Purple Gradient Hibiscus Nails

Loving the purple gradient! These nails make me think of Hawaii...Not that I've ever been there.

Black Roses on Petal Pink

This week I stayed simple...Not sure if I like this rose design- it's a bit crude, kinda lumpy...But, in other news...
I'M ENGAGED!!! WHOOHOO! Man, what kind of wedding nails should I do?

Plate Organizer

IT HAS COME TO MY ATTENTION THAT: Konad plates are a pain in the butt to organize. What the crap Konad? you want us to collect these things or not? Where's the cute pink plate organizer in my brain? MAKE IT NOW. I did a little digging around, and found that this organizer for I think Magic: The Gathering cards works perfectly. I just ordered one...I'll let you all know how it goes! you can purchase your own here.

Stamp Layering Part II- The Reckoning

I liked the mani I did yesterday so much that I decided to try out a couple different color combinations on my toesies. I think they're pretty cute, but I like my fingernails better.

Layered Stamps

Holy cRAAAAAp I'm in love with this polish! On top of a yellow base, I layered a pink Bundle Monster flower stamp in pink, then in black. EEEEEEE! I made sure to tun the stamps opposing directions to create a more layered effect. The accent ring-finger nail I'm not as jazzed about. But hell, the rest look kick-ass, so I'm happy. Maybe this mani will last more than a day...The top-coat I'm holding, Rush 60-Second High Speed Top Coat, is the BEST for sealing in nail stamps. Slower-drying topcoats can smear the design, but this stuff is, how do you say?...Effin' awesome.

Lip-licious Nails

Wheeeeeeeeee! After a long weekend at the hippy-fest Oregon Country Fair, I came back and needed thegirliestnailsever...'Cause I was covered in mud and patchouli for the last 4 days. SOOOOO here they are! I'm not super stoked that the pink smeared a bit over the white on my acent nails, but overall I think they're pretty cute =)

Good Intentions...

Today I had the best intentions of elegant, subtle green gradient nails, and somehow it morphed into horrific, ombre-secret-garden-wicca--hippy-is-just-missing-a-wolf-howling-at-the-moon nails...Haha. Well, I just get to do a new mani tomorrow is what that means, so all is well. Side note, the dark green polish is "Teal" by Love and Beauty by Forever 21. I've been super impressed with this polish. For the price, it's pretty amazing. I think I paid like $2.80 for it- and all the nail polishes by Forever 21 are of the same quality. Really opaque, and fun colors.

Photo Backlog 2012...Man, I've done some NAILS this year!

Black crackle over pink. I'm not a big fan of the crackle in general- it feels kinda funny to the touch- but I think these are pretty cute.
Bundle monster stamp in white laid over Sally Henson Insta-Dri polish in "Lively Lilac"...And then I smooshed some of those weird 'beadlet' things into it. Also: feels weird and scratchy. But I think that's part of the charm.
Springtime nails gradient =)
When I first get a new pack of nail plates, I can't help but try them ALLLLL out!
Pink and green jungle/tropical/....thingy. I found that the Insta-Dri nail polish works pretty well for stamping (it's thick enough). Sorry about the cruddy lighting in this photos, but I used "Lickety-Split Lime" for the stamp, over a random bottle of dollar-store pink.
This was the first stamp I tried. I was hooked =)
This neon nail-polish goes on matte, and chips off easily...So you really need a basecoat AND a topcoat. Which I do anyways, but it's still annoying 'cuz it takes forever and a day to dry. Anyhoo, this is Nina Ultra Pro polish in "Blue Blaze," "Punky Pink," and "Solar Flare," with leopard print stamp overlaid.
All of these nails are free-handed by yours truly, except for the on on the far right-hand bottom corner. I think the doughnuts are my fave. I used acrylic craft-paint for the design, then sealed it in with a topcoat.
White leaves over "Mint Sprint" Insta-Dri polish.
Another test of new stamps...I really love the full-nail stamps, but I'm not a big fan of the tip stamps. They're hard to put on strait, and give the illusion that your nails are shorter. Hmmmph.
Flowery-pedi. I love the blue background and yellow flower-center combination.
This pastel pink/glitter combo makes me think of unicorns....
I used the gradient tehnique with a piece of makeup sponge for this rainbow-tastic mani. The glitter seals the deal!
This was done mostly with acrylic craft paint and a dotting tool, over Sally Hensen's Insta-Dri polish in "Lickety-Split Lime."
4th of July nails.
Easter nails.
